Masujiro Kiru was going through his fathers photo album from the China Campaign just before WWII when he found a photograph of a flying object. His father, now deceased, had bought the picture from a Tientsien street photographer, apparently right after it was taken. In the photograph one can see a low domed, disk shaped object approaching a few hundred feet above the heads of the people, many of whom have stopped to look and some of whom are seen pointing up at the object.
Some sources claim that the photographer was later identified to be an American man on duty in that region, who thought the object in question was a hat. Some skeptics identify the object as a bird. However, between 1942 and 1945, a wide range of unexplainable events in the air were reported, which continued throughout WWII.
